The Reading Room is a convenient venue for company meetings, workshops, away days and awards ceremonies, in a quiet location that nevertheless has good transport links.

What sets this venue apart from others is the massive amount of outdoor space, including the car park, cricket field and Skinner field next door. This enables you to incorporate sports, games or other activities into your away day, making it a proper team-building exercise!
The Main hall can accommodate 80 people when seated around tables or up to 100 when standing, and features a stage, PA system with hearing loop and specialist lighting. It is ideal for large meetings, presentations, ceremonies or dinner parties.

The Billiard room can hold around 20 people and is suitable for smaller meetings, workshops and groups. Or book both rooms together use it as a break out space or staging area.
Both the Main Hall and the Billiard Room have adjoining kitchen facilities, with enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for 110 people. Both kitchens have a 3 minute dishwasher and a fridge freezer, as well as pots and pans, water boilers and table cloths. There is WiFi throughout. Curdridge benefits from excellent transport links, with Botley Railway Station less than a mile away. The village is 10 minutes from the M27 motorway and less than half an hour from Southampton, Portsmouth or Winchester. Even Southampton airport is only an 8 mile drive!

Our large car park is free and has more than enough capacity for day to day activities. However, for really large events, the Skinner Field provides extra space for cars, trucks and equipment, at no extra cost.
